Rave Innovations introduces state of the art indigenous Automatic Weather Station (AWS) that is used for monitoring local meteorological parameters like Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Temperature, Humidity. Additional sensors for Rainfall, Solar Radiation, Barometric Pressure, Leaf Wetness and Soil Temperature can be provided by us. Our AWS is a micro-controller based instrument designed for Indian field conditions. It is a wireless automatic weather station.

Software WinSTAT 1.0 developed by Rave Innovations can be used to plot colored Windrose Diagrams and Diurnal curves. Data can be exported to MS Excel for further analysis.

Applications include research, agrometeorology, environment consulting, wind monitor and highway management.

Key features of different models:

The AWS 10 basic model allows data transfer via RS232 port to a laptop or PC
Alternatively data from the datalogger can be directly transferred to a USB pen drive.
The AWS 10W model has an in-built GPRS MODEM and provides remote data access via Rave's web enabled data from anywhere service.
The AWS 10L model is the top of line version which provides LIVE data via LAN port
This model is ideal for industrial houses where several users may like to access local wind movement data on the company's LAN

Data transfer utility to download data from the Wind Monitor to a PC via RS232 Serial Port.
Plot colored Windrose Diagram
Plot Diurnal Curves for identifying trends in Temperature and Humidity variations
Transfer data to MS Excel for further analysis.

Enter the GPS location for your site and WinStat will enable you to superimpose the Windrose over a Google Map of the area making it easy to pinpoint regions that will fall downwind of a potential pollution source.
